Collaboration with Casa Milá, also known as La Pedrera.

In 1905 Pere Milà and Roser Segimon married. Attracted by the fame of Passeig de Gràcia,

they bought a tower with a garden covering an area of 1,835 square metres and commissioned the architect Antoni Gaudí to build their new residence to occupy the main floor and rent out the rest of the flats: Casa Milà.

After many years of neglect, the Casa Milà «La Pedrera » – declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 – was restored and opened to the public as a cultural centre in 1996.

Since January 2013, the building has been the headquarters of the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation and houses an important cultural centre of reference in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and for the different museums and public spaces it houses.

The symbolist painter Aleix Clapés (1846 – 1920) was in charge of the pictorial decoration of La Pedrera. The outstanding painters Lu Pascual, Xavier Nogués and Teresa Lostau, who at that time were new talents, took part in this task as assistants to Clapés.

We have created a silk scarf for Casa Milá in Barcelona. You can purchase this scarf at the Casa Milá shops.

Just by observing the floral paintings on the walls and working with the colours, we were inspired to combine flowers and colours in the right size to make this Foulard 180×65 cm.

We created this scarf using Habotai silk hand-sewn. You can select from various types of silk depending on the quality and budget preferences.

We assist you with the whole process.
